US Troops in Europe Prepare for Scenario of 'Worst Day in Ukraine'

US forces in Europe are preparing for a scenario where they would need to process data on over 1500 possible targets and defend against 1200 incoming projectiles and drones daily, according to Brigadier General Steven Carpenter, commander of the US Joint Forces Command in Europe.

This scenario is based on what is considered the ‘worst day in Ukraine’, where Russia has used ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as single-engine attack drones.

Artificial intelligence is being used to help analysts process the vast amounts of data from sensors, identify patterns, and recommend responses based on the commander’s objectives.
