Supermarket disruption will occur again as AI makes hacking easier, says cybersecurity expert
Anything with an internet connection is 'hackable', according to Ronan Murphy
Ronan Murphy, founder of cybersecurity firm Smarttech, said anything that has an internet connection is ‘hackable’ and that the increasing use of artificial intelligence will make it easier for hackers to disrupt critical infrastructure, such as supermarkets.
He made the comments in the wake of a recent cyber attack on a supermarket chain in the US, which caused widespread disruption to its operations.
