South Korean President's Personal Data Exposed Online
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung's personal data, including passport numbers and birth dates, were accessible online for months.
The data breach affected not only the president but also his wife, security advisors, office staff, bodyguards, personal physician, and several journalists.
The data was stored in an Excel file on a paid security platform, which was uploaded a week before the president’s European trip in June.
The president’s office has announced an investigation and immediate countermeasures to address the breach.
