Singapore Tops Cybersecurity Knowledge Rankings, Japan Ranks 9th
Singapore scored the highest in the National Privacy Test 2026, while Japan ranked 9th with a score of 41 points.
The National Privacy Test 2026, conducted by NordVPN, tested the online privacy and cybersecurity knowledge of 23,181 people from 167 countries.
The test consisted of 24 questions, including identifying strong passwords, recognizing AI-based scams, and understanding the risks of public Wi-Fi and QR codes.
Japan’s overall score was 41 points, ranking 9th globally, while Singapore scored the highest with 52 points.
