Rostelecom, Russia’s largest internet provider, is working on creating underground data centers with increased protection against external threats, according to a top manager.
These facilities will have backup locations for data storage and distributed computing capabilities.
The company is also developing a modular solution for PhosAgro and negotiating with Nornickel to build an underground data center.
