Hong Kong to deepen ties with Beijing in finance and innovation
Chief Executive John Lee calls for closer collaboration in finance and innovation with Beijing.
Lee said finance had been a key area for collaboration between the two cities over the years, with Hong Kong serving as an international financial centre.
He called for promoting two-way financial opening-up to facilitate economic transformation and expanding green and sustainable finance, as well as offshore renminbi business.
The innovation sectors in the two cities would promote collaboration in life and health technology, artificial intelligence and robotics, he said.
