Galician AI Platform Selected Among World's Top 20 by UN
A Galician university-developed AI platform has been chosen among 173 international initiatives for its ability to make public information more accessible.
The platform, called VALUEbot, was developed by researchers at the University of Santiago de Compostela and uses AI to facilitate access to institutional information, documents, and reports through conversational interfaces.
VALUEbot allows institutions to integrate different AI models, both cloud-based and locally executed, giving them control over data storage and system operation.
The platform’s architecture aims to reduce dependence on large tech companies and promote data privacy, transparency, and autonomy in public institutions.
