European Supermarket Fridges Hit by New Cyberattack
Stores across Europe, from Sweden to Belgium, experienced temperature spikes due to a cyberattack.
Supermarket chains Ahold Delhaize and Colruyt reported an IT incident that affected fridges and freezers in dozens of stores in Belgium and Luxembourg.
Swedish grocers ICA and Coop also experienced similar temperature spikes.
The cyberattack caused freezers to reach 50 degrees Celsius, rendering them inoperable.
