Envision Deploys 800V DC Power System in AI Data Center
Envision has deployed an 800V DC power system in its AI data center in Ulanqab, China.
The system integrates three layers of hardware: semi-conductor transformers (SST), energy storage batteries (BESS), and equipment that adapts DC voltage to the needs of computing equipment. The Dubhe controller from Envision coordinates the system in real-time, adjusting transformers and batteries to match computing demand, including sudden changes in load. The system provides stable power conversion from 10kV to 800V DC, and also offers backup power and millisecond-level coordination between SST and storage.
