Economy Ministry Sets Up Cybersecurity Hotline for Small Businesses
The Japanese economy ministry has set up a hotline for small businesses to get free cybersecurity advice
The hotline will be available at existing support centers for small businesses across the country, as well as at the IT Operations Support Center run by the Small and Medium Enterprises Basic Establishment Organization.
The move comes after a series of large-scale data breaches and cyber attacks on Japanese companies.
In addition to the hotline, the ministry will also provide push-type information to small businesses through partner organizations such as trade associations and financial institutions.
