Compliance is Not Enough for Cybersecurity
Organizations are shifting focus from compliance to zero-trust security model to protect against cyber threats.
The traditional approach to cybersecurity, focusing on compliance, is no longer sufficient to protect against cyber threats. This is why many organizations are shifting their focus to a zero-trust security model. This model assumes that all users and devices are potential threats, and therefore, all access to the network and data must be strictly controlled and monitored.
A zero-trust security model is based on the principle that no user or device should be trusted by default. Instead, all access is granted on a case-by-case basis, and continuous monitoring is used to detect and respond to potential threats. This approach requires a significant change in the way organizations approach cybersecurity, but it can provide a more robust and effective defense against cyber threats.
