AI Technology Allows Patients with Charcot Disease to Regain Their Voice
A new AI-powered system, Invincible Voice, enables patients with Charcot disease to communicate with their own voice.
The system, developed by Kyutai, a non-profit AI research lab, uses machine learning to analyze and reproduce a patient’s voice from a recorded sample.
The technology has the potential to benefit not only patients with Charcot disease but also those with other conditions that affect speech, such as ALS.
The system also allows patients to control the interface with their eyes, using a gaze-tracking technology.
