AI Can Free Nearly 100,000 Man-Years
A new analysis from Netcompany estimates that AI can free up to 96,000 man-years in the public sector by 2035.
The analysis, which was funded by Netcompany, assumes that ’targeted investments’ in tailored AI systems will be made.
This would result in an 11% reduction in the civil public workforce, but does not necessarily mean that 96,000 jobs will be cut.
The freed-up time could be used for tasks such as more time with patients in the healthcare sector or to perform more tasks with the same staffing, or even with fewer employees.
