ZOZO NEXT and DFKI Start Joint Research on Automating Research Development with AI
The two organizations aim to accelerate the development of new technologies and services for the fashion e-commerce sector.
The joint research project, which began on October 28, aims to automate various stages of the research and development process using AI, from literature review to experimental design, evaluation, and paper writing.
The project will leverage the strengths of both organizations, with DFKI’s expertise in document analysis, knowledge extraction, and AI agent development, and ZOZO NEXT’s experience in fashion research and development.
The research will focus on automating tasks such as paper and patent analysis, hypothesis formulation, experimental design and execution, evaluation, and paper writing, as well as developing methods for evaluating the quality and reliability of AI-generated results.
