Vertiv Launches SmartIT Pre-Engineered AI Infrastructure Platform

Vertiv Holdings Co has launched the Vertiv SmartIT solution, a pre-engineered AI infrastructure platform for high-density AI installations. The platform is designed for organizations, research institutions, and cloud service providers, both in existing and new data centers. SmartIT is based on NVIDIA’s MGX architecture and Open Compute Project’s ORV3. It is now available globally for AI installations.

The platform is designed to support AI installations in various environments, including existing data centers, new buildings, commercial spaces, co-location environments, and hyperscale data centers. SmartIT has been used in conjunction with NVIDIA’s DGX GB300, a high-performance AI system for organizations.

The platform integrates power, cooling, and monitoring systems, with factory-tested components, including power supplies, cooling systems, and monitoring systems. It supports NVIDIA’s GB300, Vera Rubin, DGX Rubin, and HGX Rubin systems, and is scalable from a single rack to multiple racks under the same architecture.
