University of Rijeka Launches New AI in Engineering Study Program
The Technical Faculty at the University of Rijeka has introduced a new undergraduate study program in Artificial Intelligence in Engineering.
The program builds on the faculty’s long-standing development in areas such as mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, electrical engineering, and computer science, as well as its more recent focus on interdisciplinary technical sciences.
This is reflected in the introduction of the undergraduate study program in Mechatronics and Robotics in 2024 and the accreditation of a related graduate program.
The university’s senate has also opened three public consultations on related matters, which will remain open until November 9, 2026.
