University of Dubrovnik Establishes Center for Digital Policies and Civic Resistance

The center will investigate the impact of disinformation, artificial intelligence, and digital platforms on society, media, and citizen information.

The University of Dubrovnik has established a Center for Digital Policies and Civic Resistance, which will investigate the impact of disinformation, artificial intelligence, and digital platforms on society, media, and citizen information. The center will bring together academic, media, institutional, civil society, and student communities. It continues the successful DU-CHECK project. The center’s goal is to educate experts who will lead institutions in this area and to encourage a broader community to research and investigate. Students and young researchers will play a crucial role in co-creating knowledge. The center will serve as a teaching base for students, connect with institutions and researchers in Croatia and worldwide, and organize events for all generations. The event was co-financed by the European Parliament Office in Croatia and the Agency for Media.
