Ukrainian Attack Damages Russian Yandex Data Center

The Yandex data center was hit by drones during the previous night in an attack by Ukrainian drones in Kaluga, southwest of Moscow, according to the company.

A few modules have been completely removed from operation, and some services may have interruptions in operation, Yandex stated on social media, adding that there were no casualties in the attack.

This is the second Yandex data center to be targeted in the past two days, after a facility in Sasovo, in the Ryazan region, was hit on Thursday, causing a fire and halting operations.
