Ukraine Allegedly Attacks Russian Tax Data Center
Ukraine allegedly attacked a Russian tax data center in the Nijni Novgorod region.
The alleged attack targeted one of the two main data centers of the Russian Federal Tax Service, which operates in a geographically distributed system and hosts information from state registers, including tax databases.
The attack could potentially disrupt the functioning of the Russian state’s computer systems, according to the Ukrainian news channel Exilenova+.
Russian authorities have not confirmed the information, but have reported intercepting hundreds of drones in the region.
