Trump Orders Federal Agencies to Replace AI With SI
President Donald Trump instructs federal agencies to use 'Super Intelligence' instead of 'Artificial Intelligence' in official communications.
The president has also established a Super Intelligence Force, led by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton, to coordinate federal efforts to ensure the U.S. maintains its leadership in the technology.
Despite a White House luncheon attended by major technology executives, including Meta Platforms, Inc. CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Alphabet Inc. CEO Sundar Pichai and Nvidia Corp. CEO Jensen Huang, the industry has yet to broadly adopt Trump’s preferred terminology.
OpenAI and Anthropic have also continued using the established terminology in their latest blog posts.
