Trentino Province Approves Cybersecurity Law
Trentino Province in Italy passes law to strengthen digital infrastructure protection and create a cybersecurity team.
The law was approved with 17 votes in favor and 14 abstentions. It aims to improve the security of digital systems in the public administration and enhance the management of risks related to cyber threats.
A key innovation is the establishment of the Csirt, a specialized team to prevent and respond to cyber attacks. The team will help identify and address threats, and improve the province’s reaction time in case of incidents.
The law also clarifies the role of Trentino Digitale, a company supporting the digital transformation of the public administration in Trentino, in the field of cybersecurity.
