TikTok CEO Warns of AI Cybersecurity Risks

TikTok’s CEO, Chew Shou Zi, has called for a better understanding of AI cybersecurity risks, citing the need for education in this area.

He noted that users may be giving agentic AI models permission to do things without understanding the permissions they are giving, which can lead to security problems.

Businesses need the right tools to defend against the fast-falling cost of creating security problems for platforms like TikTok, said Mr Chew.
