Taiwanese Companies Collaborate on Next-Generation Data Center Power Solution
UMC and AP Memory partner to develop and manufacture a power solution to improve efficiency in next-generation data centers.
The collaboration aims to address the growing concern of increasing power consumption in data centers, which has become a social issue.
The companies will combine UMC’s Deep Trench Capacitor (DTC) technology and semiconductor manufacturing technology with AP Memory’s silicon capacitor design and system-level integration technology.
The partnership will enable the development of a power solution that can reduce power consumption and improve power supply stability in next-generation data centers.
