State Bank of India sets up cybersecurity centre of excellence
SBI launches CyRIS to enhance threat intelligence and cyber defence after a recent data exposure incident.
The centre will focus on emerging digital safety and capability areas, including threat intelligence, cyber defence, digital forensics, and AI security.
SBI chairman CS Setty said the centre will bring together efforts to strengthen cyber policy, develop talent and awareness, and drive innovation and research.
The centre was inaugurated by Sanjay Lohiya, secretary, Department of Financial Services, and will be built around three complementary pillars: think, innovate, and defend.
