South African AI startup Healthleap secures $38M seed and Series A to scale clinical AI
Healthleap, a clinical AI startup, has secured $38 million in funding to scale its AI-driven diagnostic screening platform.
Healthleap’s core technology scans each patient’s electronic health record every morning, analyzing a mix of unstructured data to calculate precise clinical risk scores.
The platform pushes insights directly into existing EHR workflows, allowing clinicians to identify and prioritize patients who require immediate attention.
With the new funding, Healthleap will expand its diagnostic capabilities to screen for additional critical risks, including congestive heart failure and hospital-acquired infections.
