Slovenia's SI-CERT Reports 35% Increase in Cybersecurity Incidents
Generative AI brings new challenges to cybersecurity, with phishing being the most common type of attack in Slovenia.
Generative AI models have brought new challenges to cybersecurity, with a 35% increase in incidents reported by SI-CERT in 2025 compared to the previous year. Phishing is the most common type of attack, with attackers using email, SMS, messaging apps, and social media to trick users into revealing personal data, passwords, or financial information. SI-CERT has set up a reporting point for phishing incidents, where users can submit examples of phishing attempts they have encountered.
