Singapore Urges Immediate Fix for PHP Security Flaws
Organisations in Singapore have been urged to fix two critical security flaws in PHP to prevent server takeover.
The flaws in PHP could allow attackers to take control of web servers, steal data or disrupt services without needing login credentials, said Singapore’s Commissioner of Cybersecurity Gwenda Fong.
Fong, who is also CEO of the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), described the threat as immediate.
The two critical bugs in PHP have been reported to be exploited by hackers.
