Ryazan Schoolchildren to Learn Artificial Intelligence from 2027
A new course on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity will be mandatory for students in grades 5-11 in Ryazan region from 2027.
The course, titled Artificial Intelligence and Information Security, will be introduced in all schools in the region from January 2027, following a pilot launch in six schools on November 11, 2026.
The weekly classes will focus on practical safe interaction with AI technologies and rules for countering online scams and protecting against digital threats.
The program aims to give children a realistic understanding of neural networks and their applications in science, medicine, and industry.
