Risk of AI Widening Wealth Gap

Governments should ensure basic free access to AI tools, starting with education and healthcare, to prevent a widening wealth gap, said Ljubisa Andonovski, a member of the Macedonian government’s council for digital development.

Andonovski warned that the increasing use of AI could deepen the gap between the rich and the poor, and that governments should take steps to prevent this.
