NVIDIA announced at GTC Berlin on October 21, 2026, that global telecom operators are deploying NVIDIA’s accelerated processing units in central data centers, urban sites, and base stations.
T-Mobile has successfully completed the first commercial deployment of AI-RAN on a live commercial network, according to the company.
The deployment uses NVIDIA’s Aerial RAN Computer (ARC) and Nokia’s anyRAN software, and is designed to support AI-specific 5G networks.
