Morocco Creates Ministry of Artificial Intelligence

Morocco has placed artificial intelligence at the center of a ministerial portfolio for the first time, appointing Ahmed Rahhou to lead the newly named Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Development of the Information Society.

The new ministry will focus on developing the country’s digital economy and promoting the use of artificial intelligence in various sectors, including healthcare and education.
