Moldova Hit by Coordinated Cyberattack, Says PM Tofan
Prime Minister Vasile Tofan says Moldova is the target of coordinated cyberattacks, including one that compromised nearly a million IDNP records.
The attacks are coordinated and happen even in countries with much larger budgets and resources, which highlights how vulnerable we are with our limited resources.
The ENISA report mentions 8,200 incidents in the last reporting period, with 2,600 targeting the public sector.
The attackers exploited vulnerabilities in digital services and automated the extraction of information, which could have remained undetected, errors or omissions in the source code.
