LG Electronics Secures Large Contract for AI Data Center Cooling Solutions in North America

LG Electronics has secured a large contract with a North American AI data center infrastructure company for its cooling solutions. The contract is for 5GW of cooling solutions, including high-efficiency chillers, to be supplied to the company’s data centers in North America. This contract marks a significant expansion of LG’s global AI data center cooling business.

The contract was signed between LG Electronics’ US subsidiary and Air Control Concepts, a leading infrastructure platform company in North America that provides infrastructure for AI data centers. The company has a strong presence in the North American data center market and has partnered with major data center operators worldwide.

LG Electronics expects to supply 5GW of cooling solutions, including high-efficiency chillers, to Air Control Concepts’ data centers in North America. The company believes that this contract will help it achieve its goal of achieving 1 trillion won in chiller sales by 2027, a year ahead of schedule.
