IonQ is acquiring Elisity, a private company focused on enterprise network security, for up to $1.3 billion. The deal is a sign that IonQ is accelerating its transformation from a quantum computing hardware supplier to a comprehensive quantum technology platform, and is trying to add network security to its long-term business portfolio.
