IIT Kanpur to Set Up and Operate Uttar Pradesh's Rs 104 Crore Cybersecurity Centre
The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved a cybersecurity centre worth over Rs 104 crore.
The centre will be established and run by IIT Kanpur’s C3iHub, with a three-year mandate to centralise threat monitoring and incident response for the state’s government and public sector organisations.
The centre will be equipped with advanced technologies and tools to detect and respond to cyber threats, and will also provide training and capacity building for state government officials and public sector employees.
