IBM and Red Hat Fix Over 400 Java Vulnerabilities with Lightwell

IBM and Red Hat's Lightwell service finds and patches over 400 previously unknown Java vulnerabilities, including for older versions.

IBM and Red Hat’s Lightwell service has identified and patched over 400 previously unknown Java vulnerabilities in widely used libraries, including older versions still in use by enterprises.

The service also provides a Clearinghouse service, allowing enterprises to submit specific open-source software for prioritized review and patching.

Lightwell preserves the original software version and only adds the corresponding security patches, with modifications limited to specific vulnerabilities and tested for compatibility and functionality issues.
