HKU, Global Cybersecurity Alliance Launch AI Security Centre
The University of Hong Kong and Global Cybersecurity Alliance establish a centre for AI and cybersecurity research.
The Centre for AI and Cybersecurity Research will integrate research capabilities and resources from HKU and GCSA to advance cutting-edge research and explore novel technologies in AI and cybersecurity.
Researchers from HKU, GCSA, and international institutions will collaborate on cross-disciplinary projects, including model inherent security and trustworthy AI, AI-driven automated threat defence, and security assessment of frontier technologies.
The Centre will release research findings, security benchmarks, and open-source tools to bridge academic research and industry practice.
