Hitachi Starts Selling Container-Type Data Centers Made from Wood

Hitachi has started selling container-type data centers made from wood, aiming to reduce environmental impact and harmonize with local environments.

The product combines the design technology and operational experience gained from building over 50 container-type data centers with the strengths of wood construction.

The data centers can be designed to blend in with the local landscape and reduce carbon emissions by up to 10 tons during construction.
