Global Initiative on Industrial Design Innovation in AI Era Launched in Chongqing

The World Industrial Design Society has launched the Global Initiative on Industrial Design Innovation in AI Era in Chongqing, China. The initiative was announced at the parallel forum ‘Design Drives Future: Shaping Next-Generation Industries and Experiences’ held in conjunction with the 2026 World Technology and Development Forum. The society was established in April this year in Shanghai, aiming to promote global industrial design development and facilitate the exchange and sharing of academic theories and industrial practices between countries.
