Polaris is the new control system from Fronius for automated welding installations, which brings together installation control, welding processes, and welding technology on one central platform.
The new system is designed to meet the increasing demands for cybersecurity in industrial automation, with the EU’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the EU Machinery Regulation set to come into force in 2027.
The system’s architecture is designed to be modular and scalable, allowing for easy integration with other systems and applications.
