French Authorities Warn of 'Look Up' Sites Selling Stolen Data

Authorities in France have shut down a site and issued warnings about 'look up' sites that aggregate and sell stolen data.

These sites, also known as ’look up’ sites, compile and sell stolen data from various sources, including data breaches and leaks.

The data is often obtained from third-party data breaches, which can be purchased or downloaded for free from online forums.

The sites offer free searches, but charge for unlimited queries, with prices ranging from 10 to 15 euros per month.
