Fremont County data center part of larger $66B plan
A $66 billion plan to build data centers in the US includes a facility in Fremont County, Wyoming.
The plan, which is still in the proposal stage, would bring significant investment to the region, but also raises concerns about the county’s ability to regulate the development.
Commissioners are grappling with the prospect of more data centers in the area, citing the county’s ’little ability to take action’ in the face of large-scale development plans.
