Ethereum's Price Surge Against Bitcoin May Be Boosted by AI and Tokenization
Ethereum's price has surpassed its long-term trend against Bitcoin, with some attributing the rise to the growing use of AI and tokenization.
Tom Lee, a manager at Bitmine Immersion Technologies, believes that the current surge in Ethereum’s price against Bitcoin is a sign that tokenization and AI agents are starting to work.
Lee points to the fact that the ratio of Ethereum to Bitcoin has returned to its long-term trend after a multi-year decline, with the current price of Ethereum at around $1,900 and Bitcoin at around $63,500.
The company’s own data shows that it has been buying Ethereum regularly since June 2025, with a total of around 5.82 million ETH held in its balance sheet, worth around $11 billion at current prices.
