Critical PHP Vulnerabilities Discovered, Impacting Finnish Government Services
Multiple government services in Finland were temporarily shut down due to critical vulnerabilities in the PHP programming language.
The vulnerabilities, discovered last week in the PHP programming language, have had a significant impact on Finnish citizens’ daily lives, with several government services being temporarily shut down as a precautionary measure.
The affected services include the Finnish Defense Forces’ and universities’ websites, as well as many other public services that require a suomi.fi login.
The state’s IT and Communications Center, Valtor, estimates that the restoration of services may take several days to a week after the release of patches.
