Cowboy Space to Establish 20,000 AI Data Centers in Space
Cowboy Space plans to deploy 20,000 data centers in space using its Big Iron rocket.
The company aims to create a network of data centers in space, called Stampede, using its Big Iron rocket, which will be used to transport data processing capabilities to orbit.
The Big Iron rocket will be used to deploy data centers in low Earth orbit, with each center capable of processing 1 megawatt of power.
The project aims to provide a solution to the increasing energy and processing capacity needs of artificial intelligence models, without being limited by Earth’s power grid.
