CoreWeave rises after Nvidia CEO expresses optimism

Tech investors were also cheered by comments from Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang expressing optimism about CoreWeave’s prospects after the data centre operator faced heavy selling on Wednesday.

After dropping more than 15 percent, CoreWeave rose six percent on Thursday, an increase that also gave support to semiconductor shares.

The Philadelphia semiconductor index finished down, but well above its session low.
