China's State Council Office Issues Guidelines to Promote AI Employment
China's State Council Office has issued guidelines to promote AI employment and mitigate its impact on traditional industries.
The guidelines aim to strengthen the employment creation effect of AI and build an employment-friendly AI upgrade path.
They propose expanding new AI employment spaces in emerging fields and implementing the ‘AI+’ action plan to encourage the development of AI core industries in eastern regions and data annotation and smart terminal manufacturing in western regions.
The guidelines also emphasize the need to develop new AI-related occupations and publish new occupation standards to meet the growing demand for professionals in the field.
