The Caribbean AI Summit 2026 recognized four innovative AI projects developed during its hackathon, which brought together 75 participants and received 29 proposals addressing healthcare needs and challenges.
The hackathon, which took place on October 9-10 at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, distributed a total of $10,500 in prizes.
The winning projects were Atara, Roster Planner, Aura Curativa, and Red de Cuidado PR, which received $5,000, $3,000, $2,000, and $500, respectively.
