Canva Releases In-House AI Image Model, Canva Craft
Canva's first in-house image generation model, Canva Craft, aims to produce more accurate object details and legible text.
Developed by Canva’s research team, Canva Craft was trained using human-designed templates from Canva’s library, including posters, social media graphics, and presentations.
The model uses a two-stage process to turn prompts into images, generating images at resolutions of up to 2K and supporting approximately 30 aspect ratios.
Generated images can be converted into layered designs through Canva Magic, making them more adaptable within Canva’s editing environment.
