Artificial Intelligence Used in Israeli Election Campaign
Israeli politicians are using AI-generated content to sway voters, raising concerns about election interference.
Analysts have warned of attempts to influence the election through deepfake content, bots, and other AI-generated materials.
The video, posted on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s account, shows Netanyahu’s presidential candidate Gadi Eisenkot embracing Mansour Abbas, a well-known Arab representative and leader of the Ra’am party.
The video has been viewed over a million times and sparked outrage as Eisenkot’s son died in 2023 during the conflict between Israel and Hamas.
